How did your passion for traveling get started?

When I studied abroad my junior year of college at Durban, South Africa, my enthusiasm for traveling started. It was really my very first flight. Before studying in South Africa, a great deal of people advised me against it as they felt it was harmful. Despite others’ advice, I moved and I loved it! Most importantly, I found that the stark difference between African states were being portrayed in media versus my experience in life. South Africa is a gorgeous dynamic country with a background that is rich. Not to mention that violence and poverty do not happen there, however, the nation doesn’t need to be characterized by this narrative. That trip sparked a desire for me to go see the entire planet for myself and battle misrepresentations.

Just how many days/weeks are you currently travel in any given calendar year? Which are the kinds of places you want to visit?

I travel at least 6 weeks from the year. I like to travel both within the USA and overseas. I have a tendency to gravitate towards visiting states with panoramic landscapes or architecture and intriguing ancient history, although I am open to visiting all places.

When I travel, I am out of my daily hustle also it enables me enjoy the instant and to be more mindful. The people I meet and also the experiences I have while traveling my soul and all fuel my body.

What are 4 things that you can never travel without?

“Traveling is not always fairly. It is not always comfortable. It hurts, and it breaks down your heart. But that’s fine. The journey varies you; you should change. It leaves marks on your memory, on your physique, on your heart, and on your awareness. You take something. Hopefully, you still leave something great behind.” — Anthony Bourdain
